What kind of digital world do we want to live in? To answer this question, the re:publica Hamburg program is dedicated to current socio-political debates and brings discussions about technology, digital infrastructures and digital policy to the stage. At the Reeperbahn Festival, we will also delve deeper into topics relating to net culture and ask ourselves how technological innovations are changing pop culture and entertainment. We are interested in how games and entertainment address and negotiate current issues and place a special focus on the topic of “Tech & Music”. We are looking for ideas from and for new and established media and are continuing our discussion on AI.

We will also focus on Hamburg as a city in the programme. We are interested in the development of the city as a digital, economic, scientific and creative centre, as a place for social engagement and a hub for sustainable entrepreneurship.
