Info
This exhibition presents artefacts from Maker Challenges as material entry points into how economy, technology, and society shape each other. Prototypes, citizen innovations and works-in-progress make production processes visible and invite visitors to reflect on who shapes our futures - and how.

This exhibition presents artefacts from Maker Challenges and makerspaces from around the world as material entry points into contemporary questions at the intersection of economy, technology, art, and society. Inspired by the Future of Making exhibition, it focuses not on finished products, but on making as an exploratory practice.

In a time of growing polarization and increasingly abstract technological systems, making is a situated and constructive counter-practice that insists on transparency, shared agency, and hands-on engagement. The exhibited objects show what emerges when people combine knowledge, skills, imagination, and available infrastructures to respond to concrete challenges through making. Each artefact is the result of a problem-solving process that translates abstract problems into a tangible solution shaped by local conditions.

Beyond displaying, the exhibition opens a space for problem-sourcing. Visitors are invited to share challenges, questions, or unresolved issues connected to their own contexts and leave them within the installation, framing it as an open-ended collection of concerns, prompts, and possibilities.
