Admission

Not everything is allowed on the festival site. For security reasons there will be bag checks – please allow some time for this. You can find an overview of what you can and can't bring here:

  • Bottles and containers up to 1 litre are allowed.
  • Large backpacks, sports bags, travel bags and suitcases can be left at the cloakroom. You are welcome to take backpacks, handbags and laptop bags inside.
  • Dangerous items such as weapons, ammunition and pyrotechnic products are prohibited on the grounds. They cannot be taken into custody.
  • Animals are unfortunately not allowed on site, apart from e.g. assistance dogs: contact us as soon as possible at ticket@re-publica.com.
  • Bicycles, e-scooters, scooters, e-boards, skateboards and roller skates must also remain outside.

Food & Drinks

On the festival site there will again be a wide range of food and drinks and various food trucks. The catering of the re:publica has been completely meat-free since 2022 – for participants as well as for the crew.

Sustainability

Further information about sustainability at re:publica 2025 can be found here (in German language).

Accessibility & Inclusion

The event areas at STATION Berlin are largely barrier-free and accessible for people with limited mobility and wheelchair users.

However, there are still a few barriers on the premises. We are continuing to work with the venue operators and experts to develop solutions for this. A lift must be used to access Hall 5. Hall 8 is unfortunately not barrier-free. A crew member will support and accompany you during the transition to the Deutsches Technikmuseum park. Further information can be found on the site plan and on our sustainability page.

The programme on stages 1 + 2 will be simultaneously translated into German and English. There will be a live transcription of the presentations and discussions on stage 1. This means that the content can also be read. Programme on stage 1 can be followed either in the original language, with language interpretation or in sign language.
All visitors who require the support of an accompanying person can bring them to the event free of charge – in exceptional cases, more than one person or different accompanying persons on different days. To do this, select the ‘Reduced with accompanying person’ category in our ticket shop. Further information can be found here.

Kids Space

So that parents can have a escape from the busy conference with their children, there will again be a Kids & Baby Space on the festival grounds for playing, romping, breastfeeding or for breaks. Find out more here.

Awareness

Once again this year, an awareness team will be on site on all festival days. You can contact them by phone (030-202371439), by email to awareness@re-publica.com or via the Info Point. People who feel uncomfortable in any way at #rp24, have a bad experience (e.g. due to discrimination) or are in a mentally unwell state will be given a point of contact. Be mindful of each other, support each other and don't hesitate to come to us if you're not feeling well! The awareness team can be recognised by the white waistcoats with the word ‘Awareness’ on them. You can also contact the re:publica crew at any time.

Specific rules for consumables & compliance with youth protection

We would like to remind all participants that the consumption of tobacco products (including cannabis) and alcohol in the presence of younger visitors is not permitted. In the event of any obvious infringements, participants may be approached by the security service and advised to relocate. Due to TINCON, there will be many teenagers and young adults on site, especially in the Lofts, Hall 6 & Hall 4 (Stage 5 left).

Code of Conduct

For over 16 years, re:publica stands for diversity in an open society – which shows in our programme, on our communication channels and, of course, on site.
