Sebastian Vogelsang is an iOS developer, product designer, and founder based in Berlin. He is the creator of Flashes for Bluesky, a visual-first social media application built on the AT Protocol that reimagines photo and video sharing for the open social web.

With more than 15 years of professional experience, Vogelsang has built and shipped over 50 apps for international clients including Zalando, MAN, and Cartier. His work spans native iOS development, scalable backend architectures, and product strategy, with a long-standing focus on performance-critical mobile systems.

Beyond commercial product work, he is deeply involved in open social infrastructure and European digital sovereignty initiatives. He is a core contributor to the Eurosky Social ecosystem, which develops shared AT Protocol infrastructure in Europe, including moderation services, relays, and public-interest tooling.
