re:publica 26
18.-20th May 2026
STATION Berlin
You've broken the record again! A total of 1,673 ideas for #rp26 were submitted in response to the Call for Participation for re:publica 26 – a huge thank you to all of you! You are fantastic! We are delighted that, with 1,135 submissions from women and 58 from non-binary individuals compared to 876 from men, it is once again clear how diverse the perspectives are that will shape the #rp26 programme.
While the evaluation is in full swing, the re:publica programme team can once again rely on the support of our track teams this year.
How is the #rp26 festival programme created?
Each CfP submission is carefully reviewed and evaluated by the programme team. To ensure that we consider the diversity and depth of topics from all angles, we work closely with our track teams. These teams consist of experienced experts, loyal supporters of re:publica, members of the community and selected speakers who have been enriching the festival for years.
Each topic track has its own team that analyses the respective submissions. In close consultation with the programme team, the contributions are evaluated, discussed and voted on to select the best ideas for the rp26 programme. Together, trends are identified, key topics are set and possible gaps in the programme are discovered, which are then curated by the programme team. The recommendations of the track teams play a central role in this process and are therefore an indispensable part of programme development, not only in the evaluation of the CfP.
What's next?
Now it's time to wait and keep our fingers crossed! The final evaluation will take a little more time. By mid-March, you will find out whether your session will be part of the #rp26 programme. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our fantastic track teams for their commitment, expertise and time!
